Stocks soar to close out the month of July
The DOW Industrials haven't seen a July this good in 20 years.

The DOW Industrials haven't seen a July this good in 20 years.
With the help of some good news about the economy, traders sent stocks mostly higher on this last day of the month.
Investors have been placing bets that the longest recession since World War II is beginning to recede and they welcomed news that the economy slowed at a smaller rate than expected in the second quarter.
The DOW rose 17 points. The S&P 500 gained less than a point and the NASDAQ composite lost nearly six.
