GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Downtown shops and restaurants in the 300 block of Main Street are offering discounts and deals during construction, hoping to tempt shoppers past orange road construction signs.

Frameworks & Gallery has free frame delivery, 50 percent off frames in January and 20 percent off the entire frame job in February.

Dolce Vita is offering its Italian-style nachos free with the purchase of two entrees.

Unique Expressions is offering 20 percent of their "Sticks" furniture and accessories.

Pollux and Pablo's Pizza are joining forces. If you spend $30 at Pollux in the same day you can then take that receipt to Pablo's for a discount on a pizza pie. And if you take a receipt from Pablo's to Pollux, you'll receive a 10 percent discount.

The Downtown Partnership has also distributed 100 garage parking tokens to every retail shop and restaurant in the 300 block for them to give to their customers.

Other restaurants and shops in the 300 block say they're considering offering construction deals in the near future.
