GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Flea Market hunters have a new place to search, bargainers can now take advantage of the Grand Junction flea market and swap meet.
The open space on 515 S. 7th Street is the perfect spot for small sellers to showcase their best items. The owner of the market, Sam Ordonez, says you can find a little bit of everything, from clothes to a coffee shop, and even a salon. He says it's a chance for businesses just starting up to develop a following.
"The rents are so low. It's a great opportunity for someone to start a new business and grow from here. They can be here for a year or two years and then just go to a bigger building on their own," says Ordonez.
The market is looking for all kinds of vendors, even vegetable and food stands. The flea market runs Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. To become a vendor, contact Sam Ordonez at 314-5302.
