MONTROSE, Colo. (KKCO) - A major win for Montrose as the international aircraft manufacturing company they’ve been courting has said ‘yes’ and will announce it’s move to Montrose this Friday.

In a release Montrose officials say their prospect, dubbed ‘Thunder’, has been lured to the city, bringing with it an estimated 200 jobs over the next three to five years. The company will also occupy a 50,000 square foot facility when at full production.

City officials are releasing the company’s name and other information at an official announcement Friday. The company’s owner and CEO as well as city and state officials will make the announcement.
