The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce says in 12 months, 10 businesses created 146 new local jobs.

    Are you kidding me!? A non-profit growing at this rate is nothing to be celbrated. Where do you think Hospice's money comes from? Private pay? Hardly! Look at the books and look at what comes from private pay. Rest asurred, the rest comes from taxpayers in one form or another at various levels of gov't and sources. Hospice has great mission and people but they would not exsist without gov't money.

    Not exactly. The organization I saw mentioned in the article is one of the many faux non-profits in this valley that leech off the taxpayers.
