GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Two new retailers are moving into Mesa Mall this year.
Mall officials say they're pleased to welcome rue21 to the shopping center. Space for the fashion retailer for men and women is already under construction, filling a 5,220 square foot space between maurices and Samuels Jewelers. Officials expect the store to open in mid-spring of this year.
The other retailer isn't new to the mall, but will be back bigger than before. Jo-Ann Fabrics is opening in the old movie theater space, filling 14,258 square feet. An exact opening date isn't yet available for the store, but could be fall of this year.
"We are excited to offer guests a fabulous new fashion option," says Marketing Manager Jammie McCloud. "With competitive pricing and fashion-forward offerings, rue21 is a great fit for the market. We are also thrilled to welcome Jo-Ann back. This popular retailer was missed by many guests who will be delighted to hear of their return."
