Colorado health officials are expanding a food recall. Industrial sized cans of beans, black eyed peas, and asparagus may be contaminated with botulism.
The bacteria can be deadly if eaten, according to the F.D.A.
The seven pound cans under recall are produced by the New Era canning company.
The vegetables are marketed under the following names:
-Classic Sysco
-G.F.S.
-Code
-Frosty Acres
-Kitchen Essentials
-Monarch Heritage
-Necco
-New Era
-Nugget
-Reliance Sysco
Health officials say you should double–bag them and throw them out.
