Denver (AP) Frontier airlines announced today it will expand service to include Grand Junction.
Officials say the airline will serve Colorado Springs, Aspen, and Durango in Colorado, along with Fargo, North Dakota; Jackson, Wyoming; and Mizzoula and Bozeman, both in Montana.
Frontier says the new destinations will be served by its regional jet and turboprop operations.
The company says those two operations are better suited for the new flights because they are closer markets than others that Frontier serves.
The airline unveiled its plans about three weeks after reporting its fiscal third-quarter loss more than doubled due to high fuel costs.
