Beijing (AP) The international leg of the Beijing Olympic torch relay may be ended because of the protests that have disrupted it in London and Paris.

International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge says the organization's executive board will discuss the situation Friday. IOC officials also are concerned about demonstrations in San Francisco, where the torch is to be taken through the streets
tomorrow. It arrives in San Francisco this morning.

Rogge spoke in Beijing on the sidelines of a global meeting of national Olympic committees.

China has condemned the protests that disrupted the Olympic torch relay as “despicable,” but vows to continue the relay to the end.
