Grand Complex Fire Costing Over Half a Million Dollars to Fight
The cost of fighting the Grand Complex fire is now over $500,000 and the acreage for the coal creek fire is very close to 1,500 acres.

The cost of fighting the Grand Complex fire is now at $545,000 and the acreage for the coal creek fire is very close to 1,500 acres.

The Grand Complex includes the Coal Creek fire and the Clover fire. The fire burning near Kannah Creek continues to grow, officials say it could burn until September.

All trails in the Kannah creek basin remain closed.

There are 80 people currently working on the "Grand Complex" which includes the Coal Creek Fire and the Clover Fire burning near Collbran.
