A 31–year–old Grand Junction woman is facing a serious charge of sex assault, police say she had sex with a teenager.

Police say Theresa Lynn Millon had sex with a 14–year–old boy.

Millon was arrested Tuesday afternoon at S. Fourth and Nolan Avenue.
She is out on a $75,000 bond.

According to an arrest affidavit, the 14–year–old boy and his mother were staying with Millon while his mother was in and out of the hospital for cancer treatment and in return Millon got to use their car.

Court documents state that Millon admitted to having sex with the teen three or four times. Millon told investigators he lied about his age and she thought he was about to be 16. Millon also told police she was pregnant in April or May and believed the victim was the father but later terminated the pregnancy.

Millon is facing charges of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.

The case was referred to police by the Department of Human Services.
