Washington (AP) When it comes to the Supreme Court, only one case comes to Sarah Palin's mind: Roe v. Wade.
In an interview for the “CBS Evening News,” Palin cast herself as a federalist in explaining why she thought the court got it wrong on the landmark decision that legalized abortion.
Palin, who opposes abortion except in cases where the pregnancy threatens the woman's life, said she thinks “it should be a states issue” not the Federal government “mandating yes or no.”
Asked what other Supreme Court decisions she disagrees with, Alaska's governor couldn't name any.
In a separate interview, Joe Biden said he disagrees with the court's decision to strike down a law that gave abused women the right to sue their tormentors in Federal Court. Biden, a Senator from Delaware, wrote that law.
