The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says a cell phone video shows a young woman being raped and now an 18–year–old is facing sex assault charges.
Brandon Locke is being held at the Mesa County Jail on a $200,000.
Officials say a young woman came forward saying she didn't know she had been raped until two friends showed her a 26 second cell video of the act.
Investigators say the video shows Locke sexually assaulting the victim while she is passed out on a bathroom floor.
Court documents state that the victim and Locke know each other from Palisade High School and that the alleged incident happened at a party at Locke's house back in July.
Police have yet to determine who filmed the sexual assault, but believe Locke may have also raped the victim in his bedroom.
According to an arrest affidavit, when investigators showed Locke the video he denied having sex with the victim in the bathroom but admitted to having sex in his room.
Locke and the victim admitted to drinking.
Locke held the party four days before reporting to the Division of Youth Corrections for a 6 -16 month sentence.
