Police say a medical condition and alcohol may have played a role in a parking lot crash that involved 10 cars.
Officials say just after 4:30pm Tuesday, a man driving a Chevy Avalanche was going through the Horizon Safeway parking lot when he crashed into several parked cars and nearly took out a Safeway employee who was pushing shopping carts.
They believe the man was driving around the parking lot at 35 to 40 miles per hour.
That man was transported to Community Hospital with unknown injuries.
Police say one person who was inside their car when the man hit it received minor injuries after the airbags deployed. The Safeway employee also received minor injuries from the crash debris but was treated at the scene.
Five cars were towed from the parking lot and police say damage is in the thousands.
Charges against the driver are pending.
