A veteran Denver television anchor is being treated for injuries after she was bitten in the face by a dog.

DENVER (AP) -- A veteran Denver television anchor is being treated for injuries after she was bitten in the face by a dog.
Co-anchors at KUSA-TV said Kyle Dyer was bitten during a Wednesday morning live broadcast while doing a story about a dog rescued by a firefighter.
The Argentine bull mastiff was rescued Tuesday by a firefighter after falling into an icy lake.
A station spokeswoman was not available for comment.
