GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Looking forward to rock and rolling all night? And partying everyday? Well you can… At least for the next two days. Allen Unique Autos Rock Jam is back in town.

This year marks a decade of rockin' weekends out on the Jam Ranch. We spoke to a super fan who's been looking forward to tonight since he was eight years old.

It all started with a puzzling poster in Brian Weller’s uncle's bedroom.

“I actually thought they were women for like the first 10 years,” he says.

But Weller eventually caught on.

"The first album that I ever bought was ‘Destroyer,’ and that was with my own money, because I was like a little kid, you know so that was a big thing for me,” he says.

Since then, his fascination and fan-status has grown.

"I've got a crazy Kiss collection,” says Weller. "I’ve got everything from action figures to dolls to boots to costumes, to records, to eight tracks."

But for Brian, it's not about the glitz, the glamour, or the get-up.

"I’m a die-hard fan, but I don't listen to Kiss because of their image,” he says. “I really like their music. In my opinion, I think kiss was better musicians when they took their makeup off in the 80s, 90s."

95 Rock radio host Tommy Rocker has one word for fans like Weller: passion.

"They’re like a Denver Broncos fan,” says Rocker. “They're very passionate about the band, they know a lot about the band. You can jump on the air and ask trivia questions, and you know the passionate fans, the real fans, very quickly because they know the answers even to obscure questions."

When Weller he found out his favorite band was coming to Grand Junction, he says he pretty much freaked out.

"I was screaming like a little kid on Christmas morning that just got an Xbox,” he says. “It was pretty bad. I made a scene."

It's been a long time coming for Weller.

"This is actually my first time and I’m super stoked about it,” he says.

How does he expect to react when Kiss steps out on the Rock Jam main stage?

"I’m probably just going to start bawling like a girl when I see them start playing,” says Weller.

You can catch Weller doing Kiss makeup for fans, along with Tommy Rocker at the 95 Rock Love Gun Lounge all weekend long.
