Longmont student blames bullies for having knives
A 15-year-old Longmont High School student is facing charges after he was accused of taking three knives to school.

LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) -- A 15-year-old Longmont High School student is facing charges after he was accused of taking three knives to school.
Police say the youth told them he brought the weapons to school on Thursday because he had been bullied.
A witness told school officials the boy threatened to kill him. The boy was arrested on suspicion of menacing, possession of a weapon on school property, carrying a concealed weapon and other charges.
According to the Longmont Times-Call, police also found a small amount of bottle rocket powder.
