And you seem to be at the top of that list, Ms. Goodie.

You just cannot say it as well as the second best cyclist. He is a class act. Former champion Miguel Indurain says Lance Armstrong should keep his seven Tour de France titles until drug charges are proven by a single authority recognized by everyone in the sport. Five-time Tour winner Indurain says "until an organization recognized by all decides to the contrary, the Tour victories are his." Indurain, who won five straight Tours from 1991-95, says there are too many national and international bodies with differing interests in the fight against doping. Indurain also calls the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency's case against Armstrong "strange," claiming its pursuit of the American was "without scruples." The Spanish cyclist, writing in Saturday's Marca newspaper, says he isn't surprised Armstrong chose not to contest charges from USADA.

    Even Nerds get caught!

Level the playing field for all professional sports, allow any and all performance enhancers. In 20 years we'd have drugs without the damaging side effects AND a boatload of super-athletes, that'd be cool.

If one was truly innocent one would fight this to the bitter end and not roll over and quit.

The sin is that he got caught. There is not a legitimate professional sport left on earth. If you want sport, go watch the kids play.

This is so typical of our society in 2012. Make dozens of unverified claims, launch repeated investigations, repeat unsubstantiated allegations and then claim victory when the victim is finally tired of SUCCESSFULLY defending himself. This phoney, bologna pseudo agency jumped on the WE WIN bandwagon shamefully fast. Lance Armstrong passed the most sophisticated drug tests after each race and dozens more yet years after he retired he is still spending a great deal of money and precious time defending himself against so far unproven allegations. Until someone wins 8 Tours then Lance is the greatest cyclist to ever ride. PERIOD!

He was getting clean blood tranfusions to mask his doping. This has been widely known for a while.

He was tested many times and was clean, also how can a US agency strip someone of titles for a race that is not a US sponsored event? Another point to think about and maybe ask about is how much tax money was spent in this witch hunt?

An atheist. Let's see him explain why this one happened. Is it because the world he created wasn't good enough for him? Or is it because he is not good enough for the world that allowed him to evolve to this point? And free thinker? Can someone tell me how atheists can be free-thinkers when the language, math, science, history, physical world, etc. they use to communicate/think was not of their creation? They are using things not of their own, and undeniably are the product of the world they live in. They cannot, therefore, be "free-thinkers".

Anyone can be a free-thinker. You simply have to let yourself consider all options and be open to the possibility that you might be wrong. Of course, that's beyond most people here in the valley.

Why? If any place needs freethinkers, its the Grand Valley.
