Zanesville, Ohio (AP) The Clinton presidential campaign is looking toward what some are calling “mini-super Tuesday.”

Democrats are holding primaries next week in Ohio, Texas, Vermont and Rhode Island.

Former president Bill Clinton stumps for his wife at Bryant University in Rhode Island today.

Hillary Clinton and frontrunner Barack Obama have been concentrating on Texas and Ohio. Obama has won 11 state contests in a row and Clinton backers say she needs strong showings Tuesday to resuscitate her campaign.

Adding to Clinton's problems, she's lost the support of a key superdelegate to next summer's convention. Georgia congressman John Lewis has switched his endorsement to Obama, saying his campaign is becoming “a new movement in american political history.”

Clinton told a packed audience at a college gym in Zanesville, Ohio, yesterday that the economy is the number-one issue. She declared that her “mission” is “to improve the lives of hardworking americans.”
