Helmick Trial: Day 7

The daughter of murdered Alan Helmick is on the stand in the Miriam Helmick murder trial.
Portia Vegil is testifying about what Alan and Miriam were like in the months and days before his murder.
She says in the weeks prior to his death, she could never geta ahold of her dad on the phone then would have to call Miriam's phone and ask for Alan.
She says mos times Miriam would tell her Alan was busy and even told her to leave messages with her for Alan and she'd pass them along.
The jury also listened to Portia's last voicemails to her father.
