Winter Park opening for 70th season

WINTER PARK, Colo. (AP) – Winter Park Resort is opening for ski season with special prices on lessons and lift tickets.
The resort opens Wednesday for its 70th season.
Some of the deals this week include 50 percent off group ski lessons.
The ski resort about 67 miles west of Denver says it will have three lifts and 33 of its 3,060 acres open Wednesday.
Winter Park is the seventh Colorado resort to open for the season.
