'Sex and the City 2' had a midnight opening Thursday but is still part of this weeks openings. I already talked about that one in a previous blog so on to more important things: 'Prince of Persia, The Sands of Time.'

Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain) plays the hero from the popular video game 'Prince of Persia.'  He teams up with Gemma Arterton (Clash of the Titans) to take the Dagger of Time back to the hourglass to reverse what he did when tricked by one of his viziers. The movie will be filled with lots of slow-motion effects of death-defying odds against the hero and heroine. The action will be there but the violence and language was knocked down a bit by Disney to get the PG-13 rating for a younger audience. Still, the movie should be promising with a fairly good cast and comedy thrown in to keep you laughing. 'Prince of Persia' is playing at the Regal.
