It’s finally summertime! I’m very excited for the warm weather, and that sense of vacation (even if I’m not actually taking one.) But before you head out for your two weeks of freedom and fun, here are some quick tips that can help make your trip safe as well.
I got the idea after reading “These tips for travelers could save your life” on CNN.com’s Travel Companion section. Click here for that full story and all those tips.
I also spoke with Cindy Stanfield at The Travel Connection and Dive Shop here in town. She gave some great tips for those staying in Colorado or any nearby areas. If you’re headed to the Slot Canyons, don’t go there when it’s raining! She says it can get really dangerous. Also, if you’re going over to Denver and you’re dressed for summer, make sure you have some back-up warm clothes and comfy shoes to be ready for those mountain passes.
Do you have any of your own tips for travel? Leave your ideas here!
