Summer Nuts and Bolts

I got to play with remote control race cars today… and I was terrible. But, it’s definitely a fun way to get out of the house this summer!

Over the weekend I visited the High Desert Raceplace off of North Ave. It’s not the only hobby store in Grand Junction, but it does boast an indoor race track and an indoor rock crawling track. To learn more about it, check out the story by clicking here.


I’ll probably have to add another trip to the Raceplace on my list of things to do this summer, but here are some things I’ve enjoyed doing already:

  1. A Saturday bike ride to Palisade
  2. Taking a long walk around my neighborhood (once it cools off!)
  3. Flying kites in the park
  4. Shopping at the Farmer’s Market, then making dinner with whatever I bought.
