Talking Crazy

I talk to myself a lot these days. Is a bad habit or something worse?

Talking to yourself or out loud- is that a sign of spending too much time alone, or just a bad habit?

I never realized how often I talked to myself until the other night my husband and I were out to dinner and I found myself mumbling as I was looking over the menu.  He asked, “What?” So I quickly responded as any wife would by saying, “I‘m not talking to you.”

Then the real conversation began. I told him, “You know, you’re right. I do tend have conversations with myself.”

Then he brought up the point that I don’t ever seem to finish my sentences. I told him he was right again. I just have so many things going through my mind and I get sidetracked when I talk. And when I’m alone nobody seems to care if I finish a sentence or not.

I think I have to chalk it up to being a bad habit. One that I need to break. Or could it be something else?

Keep Smiling,
Debbie
