Denver (AP) A new proposal at the state capitol would ask voters to eliminate the $5 bet limit on poker, blackjack and slot machines at Colorado casinos.

The proposal from democratic Sen. Ron Tupa of Boulder was released Monday.

The proposal must be approved by two-thirds of the members of the house and senate in order to get on November's ballot. Voters would have the final say.
