CEDAREDGE, Colo. (KKCO) - The third-seed Cedaredge Bruins faced the sixth-seed Monte Vista Pirates and came out on top.
The first half left the Bruins with only a 6-0 advantage, but a few turnovers from the Pirates allowed the home team to rack up a couple of touchdowns thanks to a forceful defense.
Bruins finish with an 18-0 win and move on to the quarterfinals where they will take on the Hotchkiss Bulldogs on the road. Schedules TBD.
