The 5th Annual Alex Bennett Memorial basketball tournament will be held on Sunday, November 2 at Saunders Field House on the campus of Mesa State College.

The tournament was started by Alex's parents after he lost his life in an automobile accident. Alex was a standout basketball player at Grand Junction High School.

All proceeds from the tournament go towards scholarships for Mesa State College students as well as area high school students.
