GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Cedaredge Bruins made a state in the first game of the season by dominating the Paonia Eagles 41-6.

Cedaredge (1-0) has been the weak link in the 2A for several years, but they are trying to prove that this year will be a different story for Brandon Milholland's squad. After a convincing win over the No. 6 team in the 1A, they may be on their way.

Next up for the Bruins, they will host Hotchkiss in another non-conference game. Paonia (0-1) will host Grand Valley next Friday.
