GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Palisade Bulldogs are right where they want to be, and the Grand Junction Tigers are back in the bottom half of the top 10 in the state.

The second-ranked Bulldogs completely demolished the Cortez Panthers in Week 3 while No. 1 Rifle completed their second straight shutout. So the two teams remained the top two teams in Class 3A.

In 5A, the Grand Junction Tigers are satisfied to be in the ninth spot in the top ten. The Tigers lost their first game of the season to Ralston Valley last week, 23-15, who is now one spot ahead of GJ in eighth.

After a 30-point victory over Del Norte on Saturday, the Hotchkiss Bulldogs were bumped down to sixth in Class 1A. Two spots below the Bulldogs are the Bruins of Cedaredge in eighth.
