GRAND JUNCTION - The Central High School girl's basketball team returns two of the bets players in the Southwestern League and expect to be among those teams competing for a league title at the end of the season.
Senior guard Alaina Brennan is back again this year starting on the varsity squad for her fourth straight year. She is joined by sophomore guard/forward Amy Kame who will be in the starting lineup for her second consecutive season.
11 Sports' Zach Kerker caught up with the team at practice this week and gives us an early look before the season gets started on Saturday.
The Warriors' season begins on Saturday, December 1 against Rifle at 7:00 p.m.
