GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors girls basketball team was able to knock off the number nine ranked Glenwood Springs Demons on Wednesday night 49-40. The Central boys team lost 69-56.
The girls team improves its record to 6-2 on the season, while the boys fall to 5-4.
The Lady Warriors are now off for the hollidays. They don't play again until January 3 when they travel to the Kirtland Tournament.
The boys team is also off for the holidays until Saturday, January 5 when they host Chatfield.
