GRAND JUNCTION - Central's big two, Alaina Brennan and Amy Kame teamed up to score 16 a piece in the Warrior's 53-38 win over Grand Junction on Tuesday.
After falling behind 5-0 to start the game, Central rallied to take a 25-15 lead into the break. In the second half they pushed that lead to 15 to hold off the Tigers, who entered riding high after handing Montrose their first loss of the season on Friday.
Central improves to 4-0 in conference play. Grand Junction falls to 2-2.
Kershel Claussen led Grand Junction with 11 points. Emily Stark added 10 in the losing effort.
