GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Mesa County Valley School District 51 released additional information on Wednesday morning about the departure of Matt Lindholm as the Central Warriors girls basketball coach.

The District confirmed that Lindholm had submitted his resignation as girls basketball coach at CHS and that he left the state to tend to a family illness.

District 51 plans to have a formal interview with Lindholm upon his return in order to "clarify circumstances surrounding his resignation as Head Girls' Basketball Coach."

Additional information will be released by District 51 as it becomes available.
