Wildcats Come From Behind, Claim Second In SWL

FRUITA, Colo. - The Fruita Monument Wildcats fell behind 7-0 in the early minutes of Friday night's game against the Central Warriors, but they managed a second half comeback to get the win 54-47.

The Wildcats were led by Alex Mende who netted a game high 15 points in the win. Mike Perry scored 13 points for the Wildcats against Central.

Clay Kame led the Warriors in scoring with 12 points and Sean Citlau added ten points.

The Wildcats are now all alone in second place in the Southwestern League with a 5-3 league record.

The Warriors fall to third place with a 4-4 record in SWL play.
