AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Douglas County's Derek Fribbs shot a 3-under par 69 and a two-day total of 142 to win the class 5A State Boys Golf Tournament title by six strokes over teammate Cody Kent.

That 1-2 finish Tuesday propelled the Huskies to the team championship by five strokes over Cherry Creek, 445-450.

Host Air Academy stumbled on the final day to fifth place after first-day leader Mike Guerra carded a 78 to fall into a tie for third with Overland's Jonathan Park, who shot 149.

Grand Junction Central's Calan Hoppe finished in a tie for 36th with a two round score of 160.

Grand Junction High School's Mark Stern finished tied for 41st with a two round score of 162.
