GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors appear to have locked up a spot in the 5A State Playoffs with a 34-19 win over the Durango Demons on Friday night at Stocker Stadium.

The Warriors entered the game ranked 21 in the state with the top 32 teams qualifying for the playoffs.

The 5A State Playoff selections will be made the next weekend following the final games played in the state.
