GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Central Warriors powered their way to a 17-4 victory over the Montrose Indians on Tuesday afternoon at Kronkright Park.
Central took a 4-0 lead thanks to a solo homer by Tayler Else followed up by a triple down the right field line by Danielle Romine.
The Indians cut the lead to one in the top half of the next inning. Tanisha Rodriguez came through with a bases loaded, bases clearing double to the gap in left-center field but that's as close as the Indians would get.
