GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The 35th annual Warrior Classic will kick off Friday morning at Central High School.

The event brings in 38 teams from five different states - Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona.

The preseason Christmas tournament gives competitors a chance to find out where they stand against opposing schools, and oftentimes, it's a measuring stick for how the guys wil do at the state level.

The schools range in size from 2A to 5A, and even though the Warriors lost 14 seniors, they are ready to come out fighting.
