Central boys and girls hoops break losing streaks

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Central Warriors basketball teams broke their long losing streaks on Tuesday night with a couple wins over Eagle Valley.

The boys (2-17) defeated the Devils 49-38. Zach Padilla led the Warriors with 15 points to help end the boys eight game losing skid.

The girls (2-15) knocked off Eagle Valley with a 43-36 win. Brittany Hoppe led the Warriors with 13 points and Amanda Chaffin was right behind her with 12.
