GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- David Jones scored a power-play goal 4:17 into overtime and Peter Budaj stopped 37 shots, helping the Colorado Avalanche snap a two-game skid with a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (4-6) jumped out to an 18-7 lead at the end of the first quarter, but saw that lead quickly disappear. Central (1-9) will go for its second straight win on Friday when they host Uintah (UT).
