GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- With one of the most thrilling games this season, the Fruita Monument boys edged Montrose 55-52 for their third straight SWL title. The Grand Junction girls also beat Central 60-41 for an SWL title.

FMHS (20-3, 9-1) played a back-and-forth game with Montrose, and were even down by six at one point in the third quarter. But thanks to 37 points by Drew Bridges, the Wildcats won their 29th out of 30 league games.

GJHS (19-4, 9-1) won their second straight title with their win over Central. Montrose also finished at 9-1 in league, but GJHS held the tie-breaker for the title.
