GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The (8) Glenwood Springs Demons paid a visit to the Central Warriors in hopes of keeping their perfect 9-0 record alive, but Central hoped to serve them a change of pace.
After falling behind by just two in the first quarter, the Lady Warriors struggled to keep up in the final three. They trailed 13 into the fourth, and that's when Glenwood only allowed 8 points to Central, as they went on to take the victory 61-41, improving to 10-0.
Glenwood's Jordan DeCrow registered 21 points, while teammate Delaney Gaddis added 16.
Central opens up play in the Southwestern League with a game against Durango on Friday.
