GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Drew Casebier accounted for five of the Indians six touchdowns as the junior quarterback led No. 7 Montrose to a 41-14 win over Central at Stocker Stadium on Thursday.
Montrose (7-1, 1-1) was led by a number of key contributors, most notably Casebier, who finished with 128 yards on 8 of 10 passing with four touchdowns through the air. Two of those touchdowns went to Cameron Jones and the other two went to Brenan Woodruff. Casebier also rushed for a touchdown, as did Kordell Bradshaw.
Bradshaw finished with 112 rushing yards while sophomore running back Angelo Youngren piled up 131 yards on the ground.
Taylor Sanchez led Central (1-7, 0-4) with 135 passing yards highlighted by a 68 yard touchdown to Kyle Rowe. The senior quarterback also rushed 22 times for 116 yards.
Central wraps up the regular season at Lakewood next Saturday. Montrose hosts Fruita Monument next Friday.
