GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- It was not that long ago that the Central Warriors were a very successful basketball program. Ryan Hayden hopes to restore that winning attitude.
Three seasons ago, the Warriors won 20 games and advanced to the second round of the 5A playoffs. But over the last two seasons, Central has won 14 games (just 5 in the SWL).
Hayden has been an assistant coach at Palisade for the last decade, but now he finds himself at the helm of the Warriors. And he will be in the spotlight for the Warrior Challenge for the first test of his head-coaching career.
