GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Arianna Diaz's two home runs led the Tigers to a 9-7 win over the Central Warriors.
Diaz hit a pair of three-run homers to collect six of the nine runs driven in. Her first dinger came in the first inning and it gave the Tigers a 4-1 lead. Her second homer came in the sixth inning with GJHS trailing 7-6. It was another three-run job with two strikes and two outs.
The Tigers are now 2-0 in league and 10-1 overall. The Warriors are still in search of their first SWL victory as they stand at 6-5 overall and 0-2 in league.
