GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Grand Junction established itself as one of the top teams in the area after beating Fruita Monument 5-2 at Kronkright Park on Tuesday.
The Tigers scored two runs in the fourth inning, and three more in the seventh to improve to 9-1 on the season.
Montrose was also victorious, beating Central 9-7 at Kronkright.
