Junction girls remain unbeaten in SWL play

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Paula Lage and Fawn Brady combined for 39 points to lead the Tigers to a 60-29 win over the Warriors in a Southwestern League game at Central High School on Tuesday.

Lage scored a game-high 20 points while Brady scored 19. Grand Junction (11-6, 4-0) has won six straight games. They'll travel to Montrose on Friday in what will be a match-up of the only two unbeaten teams in SWL play.

Central (1-14, 0-4) was led by Jordan Eller, who scored 12 points, and Taylor Hice who chipped in with 10. The Warriors host Fruita Monument on Friday.
