GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- The Delta girls basketball team won its 5th straight game, defeating Central 58-40 in a non-league game, while the Delta boys team edged the Warriors for a 68-64 win.

Sophomore Skylyn Webb scored 23 points for the Lady Panthers (10-3, 4-0), while junior Katie Kahrs added 9 points. Sophomore Jordan Eller scored 15 points for Central (1-11) while Brittany Hoppe added 12 points.

On the boys side, junior Taylor Sanchez scored 25 points and senior Zach Padilla added 15 for the Warriors (1-12, 0-2). CHS led 31-25 at the half. Delta improves to 6-8 on the season.
