GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Last season, the Central Warriors entered Southwestern League play with a 1-5 record. This year, they've turned the table, winning five of their first six.
The Warriors will open up play against Grand Junction (6-1, 1-0), one of the favorites to win the league. But as CHS will tell you, to be the best you have to beat the best.
Last year's 6-13 record wasn't a true measurement of the teams competitiveness. Central lost six games by just one run (five of those in the SWL).
